ABOUT ME

I have had the travel bug in me ever since I was a little child. That being said I haven't travelled nearly as much as I would like to. Part of the reason I like to travel is because I LOVE to experience new cultures, meet people, and eat different foods... mmmmm.

In my spare time I like to play guitar and drums, and I am wanting to learn piano. Besides music I like to kick back, go out for a few drinks, socialize, dance, and often I enjoy just spending a nice relaxing evening inside watching movies or playing some video games.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is to short to not get out, travel and enjoy yourself. This does not mean that it can be at the expense of others, but rather should be enjoyed with others.
I feel that the world has become too obsessed with the digital age where all our communication is done via email, cell phone text messages, and etc, and we need to start focusing more on the face-to-face interaction. This does not mean abandon these amazing technologies, it simply means do not abandon the old physical methods. Nothing can replace a real life hug, or a verbal Happy Birthday in person.
We are social beings, lets not screw it up :)

I am brand new to CS and my participation has been 0 thus far. I would like to be active in the online community for a little while, get a feel for things, then possibly surf some couches and host a few people at my place :)

Movies: 300, Lord of the Rings, almost any move with Will Ferrel in it.
Music: Our Lady Peace, Three Days Grace, Finger Eleven, Default, various upbeat dance music when I'm at a club.
Books: Sadly, all I have read for the past few years is education books. Anyone interested in C++, Python, or Java, maybe Symbolic Logic?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
