I have trained horses for dressage and stunt work..all using trust and play not force.
..now I'm working with teenagers. i tots love my work
i support young people to take care and understand their mental health.
i support a group of LGBTQ young people who have come out in their community, even though they face hate. They're learning to fully find their feet and understand their sexuality is not weird.
i mediate between young people who have committed a crime - and the victim of the crime... we hear everyone and i support them to make a resolution.
I work in a hostel with people who have become homeless. All different stories, and I recognize how easily it could've been mine.
I support young people to get their voices heard... and get them involved in local action ..forming communities.. protesting... and unmasking bull politics.
I would like to see the system change in my lifetime.
Love is the opposite of fear.

Host and occasionally set-up events. Queer meet ups, a punk-rock ukulele club. Frida Kahlo paintings...musical veggie BBQs..exhibition on Brains, camping trips. etc

Indian Tabla, cello, saw, accordion, mute trumpeting, psychedelic and low fi guitars.. If I had time I would Learn all of these.
Human Rights action stuff - It's important to me to be kind to one another. little things and big things. I'm good at chairing meetings and organizing demos, sit ins and protest actions.
i write letters to David a inmate on Death Row..he's really opened my eyes to the strength of the mind we're going to blog his words - to break the stereotype of inmates on the Row.
Going to see art.. Without seriousness.. performance art. Big fan of Marina Abramovic.

I'm a slow reader...so I haven't read many, i like to digest books with time and relish over the words..engaging in them. When i was a child i would shut myself away for days with books. I usually accumulate library fines.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Frank, a boy with cerebral palsy, i taught him how to ride a horse.. seeing the transformation from his crumpled posture to taking control over parts of his body just through determination.. and no fear of failure.. he taught me alot.

I can teach you how to recognise people in danger of suicide, and how to perform an intervention. Tip for all: Ask it directly..are you having thoughts of suicide? then l i s t e n to why.
I can teach you basic Capoeira, Tango or Contemporary dance.
I can give you some games to do that can help young people talk and learn about sex and healthy relationships.
I know a few things about how to use herbs for health and as medicine..but this is working progress.
i have an understanding of the psychology of the horse
and can teach you how to make rope from Nettles and light a fire without matches.
