About Me
***IF YOU HAVE NO REFERENCES, I will not host you here in Singapore! Sorry but - I am only paying it forward for people who have really partaken in the Couchsurfing community and culture ❤️🌻
*** Also, requests really in advance don’t work for me because I leave town last minute often. I know best the week of or 2-4 days prior to your request date if I can host or not. Otherwise it’s a maybe 🤷🏽♀️ 😊
Hello!
If you had to read just one line about me - it would be that I am very relaxed, open-minded and very friendly :). But I am not here to let just anyone crash with me. I need to feel the depth of your being.
If you want to know more, read on!
I've lived in NYC, Raleigh, Chicago, and now Singapore.
I'm a bubbly, vivacious, and ebullient person by nature, with a HUGE sense of humor! I think witty people are the greatest. I'm super laid back, down to earth, not the high-strung or high-maintenance type - pretty much the opposite of uptight haha. I dislike making anyone feel ashamed for any reason and strive to accept humanity as a whole.
..definitely an adrenaline junkie and will try anything once! Growth happens at the end of your comfort zone, right? One of my favorite quotes, "Why be timid? Death is coming"
I believe in a holistic approach to the body and not a reductionist one, but feel integrative medicine is the ultimate goal.
I love to belly-dance.
I love NYC with a passion.
I love cooking.
Ridiculously frank and straightforward.
I love to dress up and wear heels.
Cigar enthusiast.
Drink my coffee without any cream or sugar, the nuances from one coffee to another become much more apparent and it's fantastic.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because what better way IS there to learn Spanish and culture in South America? I couchsurfed through 8 countries in South America.
If I could have chose what culture I could have been born into, I would have picked Latin. I want to experience living life as a Latina, and want to stay with people in their homes instead of a hostel, I want to truly connect with and understand a unique group of people that are from a culture I adore.
Interests
I love to read books :) and of course, travel. I love meeting new people, and having new experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I snuck into what used to be the tallest building in America, in Chicago the Sears Tower, to watch a Lunar Eclipse from a view that was 103 floors high. I pretended to be a newspaper photographer working for the Chicago Suntimes that came to take pictures of the lunar eclipse - the security miraculously accepted my friend (who was a photographer) and myself into the building after hours- and then we stayed in the building's skydeck after it was closed to the public - and camped there from 12am to 5am.
There is a picture of the night if you want to see :) It was one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had. One of those defining moments in life where you simply allow the feeling of being so infinitesimally small in this giant universe overcome your every thought and sense.... <3
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a humanitarian at heart. I've worked with World Health Organization in Rome by working in a soup kitchen there feeding the homeless. I've helped teach English to natives in Egypt. I've helped tutor urban children in an after-school program. Etc. I believe in the ripple effect and know my efforts will reach distances I will probably never be able to fully conceive :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm really low key nowadays and probably won't want to show you around. Just being honest lmao
