My name is Shahar. I am 31 years old from Israel. proffessionaly I am a tech guy (Computer Science ✌🏽) but when I don’t do it I like to learn (especially languages), cook and of course to travel.
One of my biggest passions is cooking and I really like to host and cook for my friends and family. And also to whoever comes at my house.
Right now I am traveling in Thailand trying to learn better Thai cooking and the Thai language. Looking for people who wants to join my learning experience or grab a beer and walk around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I like to meet locals and see their way of life. I think that being in an everyday life of someone else is the best way to learn about their culture/society and also to improve your own lifestyle by taking some new habits to yourself. Things you can’t learn any other way.

I know how to cook Israeli, Thai and Indian food and also some dishes from other cuisines such as Italian. In addition I am currently interested in food preservation.

I would mostly like to learn how to cook new things and some of your language. These are the major things but of course I would be glad to learn any thing new!
