My name is Shahar. I am 29 years old from Be’er Sheva, Israel. I am currently doing my master degree in Computer Science.
I live by myself in a nice small apartment with a pretty big yard and occasionally I go traveling when I can.
In my travels or when I host I really like to learn as much as I can about the culture of the people I meet and also about their lifestyle.
I am an experienced traveler (more than 3 years accumulated) so I can understand thethe mind of the people I encounter using couchsurfing.
One of my biggest passions is cooking and I really like to host and cook for my friends and family. And also to whoever comes at my house :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I like to meet locals and see their way of life. I think that being in an everyday life of someone else is the best way to learn about their culture/society and also to improve your own lifestyle by taking some new habits to yourself. Things you can’t learn any other way.

I was working on a cruise ship for about 8 months away from home.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to cook Israeli, Thai and Indian food and also some dishes from other cuisines such as Italian. In addition I am currently interested in food preservation. I can teach programming as well and of course Hebrew.

I would mostly like to learn how to cook new things and some of your language and in addition some spiritual habits such as yoga and meditation. These are the major things but of course I would be glad to learn any thing new!

What I Can Share with Hosts

All my knowledge is yours by demand as well as my time. I like food so we can go to eat something nice or cook together. I also like music so if there's any concert around I would most certainly join you.
