Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

On a 23 days kayaking trip along the coast of British Columbia I was waiting for the rain to clear before I set up camp on this little remote island of the coast. I sat under some tree cover and right as the rain stopped the sun beamed in through the forest so brightly illuminating each diamond rain drop just holding onto the ends of every little pine needle. Everything around was gleaming. Then the forest started humming, at first I couldn't recognize the sound... that is until I saw it. 20 or 30 humming birds just gliding about, drifting from one sparkling raindrop to the next. It was an honor to sit there among them and be a part of their world.
