I love connecting with people and all life. Most of all, I love dancing on my learning edges. I am currently studying Biomimicry.

ABOUT ME

I have hosted students throughout my adult life, as I wanted my own children to learn from other cultures as we shared our own. I love traveling, and have done a fair amount on my own and through the diverse jobs I have experienced. Most of all, I love learning and creating.

PHILOSOPHY

We all want to be seen, heard, and valued. We all want to contribute something positive in life. My goal is to honor and empower that possibility for everyone, as best I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have invited so many people to live at my home over the years, I've lost count - this was long before CS. I welcome the opportunity to do so through CS and look forward to meeting new people both as a host and traveler.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled by myself to find ME in the context of the world. Studied languages to see through new eyes. Went on a rare rattlesnake expedition with field herpetologists. Skied blindfolded with a sighted guide. Directed the Beep Baseball world series at Stanford U. Learned watercolor to cocreate and dance with water - the life blood of the planet. Designed my home to experience and honor tree. Wrote a book, started a non-profit, hosted events, etc. Studied perception and whole-systems to expand my perception of the possible.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to coach MSc. degree students around the world as they completed their Action Learning projects for a global University. I love learning about new ways of thinking/doing/perceiving; and I love helping myself and others dance on their learning edges. I am passionate about whole-systems design, also a Permaculture instructor, global website and network designer, and have held many diverse jobs in just about all sectors. I happily teach skills if requested...just ask.
