I am Shalini from India, born and brought up in Noida which is adjacent to New Delhi. I have been travelling with friends and solo backpacking for few years now all over India.
Currently exploring parts of Europe and this is a very interesting journey.

I like to spend most of my time after work indulging myself in travelling or exploring places. Also have some expertise in Indian food and my skills can definitely be tried.

I have explored many cities in India also including the popular mountain ranges in Himachal & Uttarakhand.

As I cannot recall all the names of places where I have travelled but few of them are Mumbai, Goa, Bangalore, Lucknow, Punjab, New Delhi, Rajasthan, North east - Guwahati, Meghalaya, Shillong, Kaziranga, Dawki, Assam, Arunachal, Spiti valley and many more that I can’t recall.

For sure I hold an expertise for in & out of Rishikesh as spent most of my time there during pandemic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is my first time travelling international. I am in Switzerland till the end of September and would like to explore as much as I can being on budget trip.

I am very accommodating and just have a thirst to learn more about the culture, places, food and people, so not a fancy tourist but a backpacking traveller.

Also I am on Workation so will be working till afternoon on weekdays and then will step out to explore but on weekends I will be having full day to learn and explore around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled all the way from my home on Scooty to Spiti without letting my parents know the mode of commutation and came back after 22 days. It was one of the adventurous travel of my life.
