My life story is a little complicated. Suffice to say, I currently have no permanent address. All this is out of choice, and in the name of adventure! It also makes the question of where I'm from tricky to answer, and I frequently confuse people because of it. I'm adventurous, easy-going, tidy and friendly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that the best way to experience a country and city is by way of the locals. I'm looking for more than just the tourist experience. I have stayed in hostels a fair bit (mostly because I wasn't quite as adventurous when I first started traveling solo), but the times when I've couch-surfed have by far been the best and funnest times. I so wish I'd done it more often, but it's not too late to start doing so now!

Interests

My first and only true love will always be travel :-) besides that I love photography, animals, and through traveling have acquired a real interest in history and food.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job, packed up my stuff, left Australia with no foreseeable return date!
Perform minor surgery on a lion... in the middle of an African nature reserve at night.
