Hi. My husband and I are from Cochin in Kerala ( God's Own Country they say), India. I work in Bangalore . Both of us love traveling. I am a vegetarian. I eat egg ( white only). We do not allow meat inside our house. We have an adorable dog called Bubbles. She is a golden retriever. We are not really looking at replacing a hotel for people coming to Bangalore on their work. We would like to play hosts to have a cultural exchange and for someone who is traveling here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have stayed at BnBs in Austria and Australia and the warmth you get when people open their houses to you is just amazing. Our couch surfing experience in France was amazing. We believe couch surfing would help with a closer cultural engagement. And truly understand a part of the local culture.

I love dancing . I have learnt Bharatnatyam ( classical Indian Dance form) for more than 8 years . I am currently learning Zumba as well

Music, Movies, and Books

I can rock my head from end to end on any music. A book worm, I love enjoy books across genres. So here goes my favorite 10 in no particular rank and order:

Some of the books above, have been converted to movies so I love them as well. Usually more often that naught the movie never lives upto the book, but if the book is as delightful as any of the above a lesser version of it would still be great. In addition to those I love Kung Fu Panda, School of Rock, Avengers, Ocean's Series, Sherlock Holmes ( I liked the series better but the movie is good too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had been to New Zealand. I had already purchased y ticket to sky dive. Just before the jump I was terrified. But just as the tandem jumper took a dive back and just fell out of the plane (well for him it as jump as far as I was concerned it was a fall ), I realized it just was the best ever thing I had done in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Indian Cooking and Bharatnatyam ( a form of Indian classical dance). Eager to learn different languages and immerse myself in the local culture.
