About Me

ABOUT ME

I have just spent the last 8 months working in Mexico and backpacking through South America and I'm now back in the UK and about to start a career in the city. I've definitely got the travel bug and will be taking as much holiday as I can to explore different parts of the world!

On the whole, I would describe myself as an open-minded, sociable and enthusiastic guy who always has a cheeky smile on his face, especially when I'm on the dancefloor!

Whether it be in English, Spanish or whatever language, I'm generally not short of things to talk about and really do enjoy making conversation with new and interesting people!

PHILOSOPHY

Work hard, play hard.... and party even harder!

"Los pequeños detalles hacen la excelencia pero la excelencia no es un pequeño detalle"

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

"....Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world..." - Nelson Mandela.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking forward to meeting lots of couchsurfers both in London and when I myself am abroad - whether it be a coffee, a few beers, some sightseeing/ cultural activities or a big night out partying... I'm game!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A friend put me in touch with a couchsurfer when I moved to Granada a couple of years ago, which layed the foundations for a great semester abroad. He included me in all aspects of his social life and soon enough I was a regular at the weekly CS meetings, where I also met more interesting people who became good friends.

I have also surfed on two occasions and both hosts were fantastic. Both experiences reminded me of just how open-minded, good-natured and hospitable people can be!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A helitour of Iguazu Falls. The waterfalls themselves are probably the most beautiful place I have ever visited, and then too see them from a range of different angles from a helicopter was simply breathtaking.

I was in Plaza de Cibeles in Madrid along with thousands of euphoric Spaniards the night Spain won the World cup in 2010. The atmosphere was electric and it really was a once in a lifetime event, as I doubt England will win the World Cup anytime soon!
