ABOUT ME

well, my major is Arabic and i'm head over heels on it. I spent my first 2 years of university study in china and now i'm in university of jordan to complete my 3rd year of Arabic study..
What opened my eye to the world and made me wanna embrace the world there are mainly 2 things.
First thing, my volunteer experience in Universiade in Shenzhen in August in 2011. and i was with the lebanese delegation. i can't forget the days i went through with the athletes and president, the russian party nights, and all those people from different parts of the world in the universiade village. There i learned that TCHAD is a country where people speak Arabic very well. There I knew 2 genius from a country i never heard of, Botswana. There my lebanese friend told me that in his country there's a religion called duruz, and because he's a christian he cannot marry his duruz girlfriend coz the girl may be killed for marrying a non-duruz man... i saw and heard and thought a lot during my 1-month volunteer experience. and the lebanese people are really crazy, but in a positive and fun way :P and it was my dream to go to lebanon after the universiade game. it's a dream as well as a promise i have kept to myself.
and the second thing that inspired me would be my 3 months' life in jordan. i came to amman in Sep.2011. and i will stay here until august in 2012. Life here rocks the house :P i have a great time and i have a diverse and fun experience here. On the new year Eve of 2012, i was in Irbid for my friend's wedding ceremony. i learned some belly dancing, beating drums and زغرودة there. i joined the parties and the passion warmed me a lot in the cold winter :)
i find myself more and more open-minded and very willing to have a look at the different cultures and regions. and I'm always ready to listen to and share stories from different parts of this globe.

Went to World Dish Night in Feb, 2012 in amman jordan
met interesting friends here and even sang the chinese national song at the party LOL

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

AIESEC experience in China in my freshman year;
Organizing a big talent show(mainly in the PR and sponsorship part) in my sophomore year;
Being a Volunteer in the 2011 Universiade Games held in Shenzhen, China for a month
taking part in a traditional jordanian wedding ceremony in irbid in jordan on the new year eve of 2012

one thing to mention, TED talk is really inspiring and thought-provoking. i strongly recommend this.
