About Me
Hey there! I'm new to Couchsurfing and still figuring things out—so if my profile’s not super polished yet, don’t judge too hard. 😅 I’m here because I want to meet people, connect, and share experiences—not just scroll in silence. I would of stayed on Facebook if that's what I was looking for 😂
I've paid for CS, like everyone else and haven’t met anyone yet, so I will just start saying hi directly to folks. If you get a message from me, it means I read your profile and you seem interesting to me. I felt at first I was trying to wait for locals to message me but no one has been so I'm trying a different approach. 💬
A little about me: I’m an Airbnb host and hospitality comes naturally to me. I love creating welcoming spaces for travelers (check out my place in Waco: Airbnb.com/h/serenityhavenwaco) and I really enjoy good conversation, sharing stories, and learning about different ways of life. I'm into food, traveling, healthy living, and working towards a self sufficient lifestyle.
Let’s connect, share a coffee, swap travel stories, or explore something cool together. I’m excited to meet people who enjoy making real connections!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To make new friends in the new places I travel to!
Interests
I'm a naturally curious person who enjoys meaningful experiences and learning from others. Some of the things I’m most passionate about include:
Cultural foods! I'm a huge foodie and I enjoy experiencing different cultures through food and recipes.
History – I enjoy learning about different cultures, traditions, and how people lived in the past.
Outdoor Activities – I find peace and adventure in nature and love spending time outside. I am not big into hiking but I do like going to parks to sit and read or to relax on a sunny day. (Camping, kayaking, stargazing)
I dog sit on the side. So if you have a dog or cat we will get along just fine!
Community Events/ Socializing – While I’m a bit of a homebody, I enjoy connecting with people over meaningful conversations and shared experiences. I volunteered at a hostel for over a month and I made so many acquaintances and connections that way. I had several people tell me about couchsuring so I decided I will try to give it a go! I have not received many replies so far at all.. I'm not a scammer or a weirdo, just a solo traveler looking to make new connections.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent a night under the desert sky at a Bedouin camp, stargazing far from the city.
Completed a six-month humanitarian mission with the Navy, traveling to 15 countries and helping communities around the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m respectful, easy to be around, and helpful. I enjoy good conversation but also know how to give people space. I’m happy to lend a hand with chores, cook a meal, or just be a considerate guest. Since I host others myself, I truly value hospitality and always do my part to make things smooth and comfortable.
