About Me
I’m a graphic designer and an art enthusiast who chooses to travel not just to see places, but to understand the hidden meanings behind them. Most of the time, I travel alone, because I believe solitude changes the quality of your gaze, allowing you to face deeper layers of yourself and the world around you.
I often reflect on the philosophy of travel — why people leave their homes, why we long to discover the unknown, and how new experiences can help rebuild us from within. Along the way, my passion for history, mythology, and ancient stories is always with me, because I believe understanding the past helps us make better sense of the present.
Whenever I arrive in a new city, I don’t see its historical and ancient sites just as a tourist; I try to trace the footprints of human societies, the formation of cultures, and the impact of ancient religions on people’s lives. For me, the music of each region is also like a key — a key to understanding the soul of a land.
Hosting on Couchsurfing has been a valuable experience, because every guest brings their own story, and those stories have broadened my perspective on the world. Talking with people from different backgrounds has deepened my understanding of how our similarities and differences can lead to friendship and empathy.
If our paths cross, I’d be happy to talk about art, mythology, the philosophy of travel, and the human experience — and maybe discover a new way of seeing the world together.
