I like the feeling of friendly and direct human communication.

CS was great for me from the very beginning. Celebrating Chinese New Year with dozens of couchsurfers for the first time in Kunming, China; surfing a purple couch in a dress store in Hainan; living in a caravan during the trip to rainy Cornwall, UK. To be continued.
