ABOUT ME

I am a laid back lover of travel, especially the backcountry variety. From Vancouver, Canada I enjoy bicycling around the city and know lots of good places to sit in the sun. I'm really good at lawn games.

I am currently studying in Amsterdam and I love to travel around Europe when time allows.

PHILOSOPHY

I do my best to make things interesting, meeting new people is usually good for that. Balance in all aspects of my life is very important - "everything in moderation including moderation itself"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a bicycle tourer, I used warmshowers.org and this site to coordinate places to stay or pitch a tent while on tour. Summer 2013 saw me enjoy hospitality all across Europe.

Now I am not available to host travelers. But if you want someone to meet for a drink or give tips on the city hit me up. I also keep a spare bicycle so if you want to enjoy Amsterdam like a local then that is the best way, I'd be happy to loan it to you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosted while on that bicycle journey by very generous and fun people! I have also met with people in new cities for drinks, improv workshops and bike rides, and have enjoyed all the interactions.

When dealing with people one must take the bad with the good. But here we choose who we let in and how we interact. Let's work together to make this community inclusive, positive, respectful and safe :)
