Born and raised in Taiwan, I started to explore the world hosting CS in a travel bookstore in Taipei City with my friends, the bookstore owners, and facilitated great international exchange among local guests and CS.

I then commenced my own adventure via travelling in Iceland, attending summer school in Portugal, friend-visiting in the Netherlands, festival volunteering in Belgium.

Now I reside in Dublin for my master studies after years of work in Asia and continue to explore Europe. Hope to visit Africa one day:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We often chatted so late in the travel bookstore they owned that I just had to sleepover.
After some times, we realized that there is space in the store suitable for accommodating people, and we started accepting guests visiting Taiwan via Couchsurfing, which is the start of the stories:)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Travel experiences are always great topics among CSers and during those sharings, I found myself especially curious and open to experience traditions and religious rituals.

While not planned, I experienced the holy candle procession in Fatima, Portugal on its centurial anniversary in 2017, then was lucky to attend the Pope's mass when he visited Dublin in 2018. I bumped into elected Fallas beauties before the festival in Valencia and tossed coins on St. John's statue to seek love in Lisbon. I also went to Mosque open day in Dublin to understand more about Islam besides participating in Catholic norms.

I enjoy and appreciate being a global citizen to be able to witness various lifestyle and beliefs towards lives, which might be something worth sharing:)
