CURRENT MISSION

It is my current mission to explore the world in search of new lessons, teachers and students, to share knowledge and learn as much as I possibly can while meeting new like-minded friends and spreading joy all in time for breakfast!

ABOUT ME

I am an artist and musician and enjoy adventure and the great unknown. I am proficient in the art of metal working and jewelry design. I am very easy going and like to really understand my surroundings (people and places). I like to cook and mainly stick to a Pescetarian diet (Seafood, dairy, eggs, vegetables, fruits and grains). I like to hang out with people one on one and really get "into it" with some good ol' existential conversation, or just to be silly. I also like groups of people and understanding social dynamics. It is my quest upon this earth to one day have my own organic sustainable homestead and live completely off the grid, true freedom!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I grew up in a very eccentric household. my family and I have always taken people in who are in need of a place to stay. We always had someone living with us. there were times in my youth where I would come home and people would be asleep on my floor who I'd never seen before! So all in all I feel that I have good couch karma!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't formally "Couch surfed" but I've had plenty of people take me in when I had nowhere to go. whether it be couches, pitching a tent in someones yard or curling up on the floor i have slept in some pretty interesting places...including a booth in a MacDonald's in center city Philadelphia...

Interests

I love all things nature and outdoorsy: rock climbing, hiking, boating, bike riding and camping. I would also love to learn how to be a deck hand on a tall ship one day. I like to do yoga and consider myself a "spiritual person" not a religious person, but of course I am respectful of others beliefs and expect the same in return. I am interested in medicinal herbalism, making salves and tinctures and wild crafting plants.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sooo much music!! all different kinds. I love Neutral Milk Hotel, the Dead Kennedys, Op Ivy! everything from funk to punk to folk and classical.

I like old movies. Also anything medieval. Love Lord of the Rings and Star Wars!...and of course Fern Gully!

I just read Wicked and really enjoyed the social commentary. I also love The Serpent by Jane Gaskill. I like George Orwell and The Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed mount Masada in Israel. saved a little girl from drowning when I was 10 years old. played an hour long live musical set on the radio. explored Spain. I can also climb trees in the dark...
