Hi everyone! We're a 24-year-old couple who have been together for 6 years and recently took the leap to quit our jobs and travel the world together. I'm half Scottish, half Trinidadian, and Shannon is from Trinidad.

We have always been naturally curious about the world and passionate about learning from other cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're budget backpacking through Asia and we’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, we're hoping to share stories, learn a few words in your language, and understand cultural traditions. Our goal isn't just to visit Asia, but to understand it through the people who make each place special.

We loved Caleb Azuma Nelson’s books (Open Water & Small World) & Shan really enjoyed I who have never known men.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We quit our jobs and dared to follow our dreams and see more of the world together!

We did long distance for 3 years of our relationship with a time difference of 5 hrs!

Teach, Learn, Share

We love cooking together, sharing meals, and learning about different ways of life. We love to learn new languages and share our language and culture with others, whilst also learning about there’s!
