It’s more enjoyable crashing on people’s couches meeting friendly genuine people. I find it interesting to live how others may live instead of me figuring out a way. I find it fascinating to see how everyday people lead their lives and staying with them, getting a sense of their lives helps me understand their culture and heritage.
