About Me

I am an outdoorsy individual who also loves to chill and read, watch video and watch netflix indoors. I am a foodie at heart and love eating out. I love trying new experiences and consider myself pretty adventurous. I am also a neat freak and love things to be clean so I am very courteous about that sort of thing when visiting someone else's home. I am passionate about education and love teaching kids. I have had experience teaching adults and have a TESOL certificate. I am living Seattle as a volunteer as a full time Americorps member in a school! Seattle is such a fun city and I'm having a great time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people in new cities! I love to travel but do not always have a lot of friends that share this interest or want to travel at the same time. Couchsurfing seems like a great tool to meet cool new people from around the world while seeing the places I want to explore!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll he honest I love pop music. Troye Sivan, The 1975, Halsey, Lauv, Khalid, The Weekend. These are all some of my most often and most recently played artists!
I also love to read! I just finished Call me By Your Name and another book I just read was The Hate U Give. I am about to start trying to read Americanah again. Oh! And true crime books are a guilty pleasure. I also love real heart wrenching memoirs like Tweak or Boy Erased.
Into the Spiderverse was an amazing movie and I urge everyone to watch it. I usually like dramas. A really good movie I recently watched was Miss Steven's and I can not stop thinking about it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mountain biking down a Mexican canyon to this extraordinary little village by a river.
Oh l, I also taught English in schools in Mexico for about a month. So life changing and rewarding!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation about a variety of topics, genuine care and support of their home. I can clean l and will of course pick up after myself leaving everything just as I found it or better. I am also a decent cook if you would like a meal. I like to think I dont make bad company either.
