Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to experience something other than the typical backpacker hostels, AirBnBs, and hotels. This seems like an incredible experience to not only stay an affordable night somewhere, but get to know locals in wherever I might be traveling and be able to connect on a personal level. I wish I had hopped on this site earlier because this seems like an incredible system for what I'm looking for!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel that moving to a country for 6 months with nobody by my side was a big feat for me, definitely nerve racking on my end. But it's changed who I am. Also I used to do a lot of volunteer work.
