ABOUT ME

I'm happy to say that all the ideas that I might had about myselve are changing ... it's better to meet and you get your idea, I don't worry much right now to stablish who am I :).
I am, and that's enough.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm discovering how to take things slowly, one at a time. How can I be present in every moment, how can I deal with my thoughts and shut them from time to time. How can I enjoy live in the small things. Having lived in the caribbean, in the mountains and in a meditation center helps!
Since the meditation that I practice comes from a Buddhist tradition, loving and caring are becoming fundamental in my life, therefore I can't imagine a more noble profession than the one that I am going to study; Midwifery.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm starting.
Allthough I've already met lots of people that hosted me in Russia and Ucrain in summer 2011, through friends, not through CS. :). This experience changed me a lot and here I am now, in CS.

So far I got hosted by one lovely couple in Liverpool and in a student's house in Manchester…

兴趣

I used to like to hang out a lot in the night, go to the movies, to the theater, discus politics and gender politics. Now I do it less, but I´m very social and open. I also like going to the nature, listening and feeling life, dance (contact improvisation or any free dance) and act (improvisation) and Vipassana meditation.
I also like hitchhiking and traveling.
I actually feel that I have being traveling for the last 2 years as I am constantly being hosted by friends.

Well… I love any movie almost, as long as it is in it's original language. I can hardly sleep through a movie.

Lately I am reading anything related to midwifery and motherhood: Spiritual Midwifery, books from Michel Odent, Carlos Gonzalez...

I love "100 años de soledad" and books by Julio Cortázar.

I have always loved reading essays, depending on the period of life I was living: books about performing arts, about feminism, about philosophy.

Now I prefer to live and learn skills valuable to others than get caught in philosophical discussions.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In 2011 I spend 3 mounths traveling through Ukraine and Russia in dancing festivals of Contact Improvisation in the nature. I never felt so inspired, so alive and so strong at facing live in rush moments. And mainly I enjoyed discovering myselve and other amazing people.
Also, hitchhiking through Europe and catching the transiberean to climb mountains in the Altai region.
