UPDATE!
Exciting times ahead - we are going to be parents!
Gosia is due to give birth to our first child in November.

So for now and after the birth we are happy to meet for coffee / cake however we do not wish to host anyone for the foreseeable future. Please respect this and do not send any couch requests.

We enjoy the simple pleasures of life... cooking meals slowly,reading newspapers at breakfast,riding our bicyles &swimming in the ocean (in Western Austalia) and lakes (in and around Berlin / Brandenburg).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are now based in Berlin but we both spent the majority of our lives in Western Australia. We find CS a great way to travel and to meet 'local' people in new, unknown places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed across Switzerland, Austria, Sweden and Denmark. We met some wonderful people and experienced some extraordinary buildings and locations. We would also like to think that the majority of hosts we stayed with are now friends.

Much of our travel focuses upon architecture, seeking out buildings and the visiting of things architecturally related.

Exploring Graubünden in Switzerland.

A highlight was Sumvitg, climbing to the Church San Benedetg from the valley below. Ascending the side of the mountain, breathing the smell of wood smoke, hearing sound of running water, cow's, watching sunlight and mountains cast dark shadows across the valley below. Deep breathing, physical effort and reward upon reaching the silence of the chapel.
