Overview
About Me
I am working and studying in San Francisco. I care about social mobility, and I appreciate big or small things in life. I am excited to travel and learn different cultures. I love the unexpected pleasures and genuine emotions when I make connections in a new environment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Besides the fact that it is free, couchsurfing lets me live like a local and learn from a local. I also think Couchsurfing has a great cause that I am happy to support.
Interests
I love arts and science. Arts as anything that requires work to build. Science as anything that tells you what is true about the world at all times.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like hilarious movies and movies that tell a good story. I listen to informative podcasts, read economics magazines occasionally, and watch ted talks. Growing up, I read more fiction books than non-fiction. I sing to pop songs on the radio all the time, though I do like Sade, who's an older singer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was on the founding committee of a program in college.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My story as an immigrant in the U.S., in the wedding industry, experiences and externalities of being in a certain type of competitive academic environment, my fusion of American and Chinese cultures, going to church, etc. I've had a lot of different experiences really, since I am open to new ideas. I can also share my encounters with golf/scuba diving/cliff jumping/sky diving/travels/camping/canoeing/pop music/books/ted talks/economics/teaching/the list can go on
