Hi there! I'm Shanna, a 23-year old psychology graduate living in Amsterdam. Whenever I have a break from uni, I love to travel! Usually low-budget backpacking trips with the occasional hitchhike to move around. When abroad, I stay at hostels, local acquaintances, or do a workaway (volunteering). I'm very laid-back and easy going, yet quite adventurous. I'm hyped by dancing, conversations with strangers, and just about anything that's new to me! Not only do I like meeting locals when abroad, but I also enjoy meeting travelers in Amsterdam, so hit me up if you want to spend some time together! (just to be clear, I unfortunately can't host surfers due to roommates)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When abroad, I usually try to meet a local so I get a better view of what life is like. For me, traveling is not that much about 'sight seeing', but more about meeting new people and going on little adventures. What's a better way to do that than to stay with a local, right? This means I'm not simply looking for 'a couch to crash at', but mostly some good company and new connections :))
