CURRENT MISSION

I just completed my 27 month adventure with the U.S Peace Corps in Cameroon, Africa. Currently, I'm trying to figure out my next step, which mostly entails finding a job in a new city!

ABOUT ME

My friends would describe me as funny, adventurous, spontaneous, laid back, honest, loyal, always up for a good time, social, hard working, ambitious, and completely indecisive (for just about everything--what I'm eating next to where I'm going next)!

Interests

I enjoy being around friends, but making new friends as well. I'm very social and would rather spend my time with others. I love food--all of it. Take me to a hole-in-the-wall any day (or a street vendor) and you'll win me over every time! Being outdoors is a plus, especially if it includes an activity of some sort (kayaking, boating, hiking, skydiving!!...etc.). Volunteering is important to me and I look forward continuing to helping my community and those abroad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. When I organized my second summer camp in Cameroon. I worked with the most dynamic and motivated youth, which came as a surprise because most kids over there are very shy and don't understand concepts like "leadership" or "goal setting". They were super responsive and incredibly grateful to have had that experience. You could see that the seed was planted in their eyes to live healthier and goal-driven lives--best feeling in the world!

2. Standing on the top of the highest point in the Simien Mountains in Ethiopia. It was of the move breathtaking views I've seen.

3. The view from the top of Mt. Cameroon, the second highest peak in West Africa.
