About Me

I love history, reading, and of course traveling. I'm a University student studying abroad and looking for cool people that are rad enough to open up their couch. I'm studying International Relations at Kent State University and I'm spending my first semester of University abroad.

I love traveling and I love history, I can cook pretty well and tell really bad jokes. As a kid I traveled a lot with my family and fell in love with learning about the culture in every place that I went. I am studying International Relations and Anthropology at university right now.

Back in the States, I have a cat and two dogs. I absolutely love animals and nature, so I'm down for exploring parks, cities, and everything in between

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it would be cool to host people from different places and learn about them. Also, I'm a college student who spends a lot of time abroad and it's so much better to learn from a local than a guide book.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ah, I like alternative music but I'll listen to anything. I'm a big fan of Twenty One Pilots, Fall Out Boy, and Panic! At The Disco.
I'm also big fan of horror films, but love the Harry potter series (the books are better) and deep films like Perks of Being a Wallflower.
I love the book The Night Circus. I also enjoy historical fiction, mysteries, and fantasy novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided to spend my first semester of University abroad.

I worked at a summer camp and made ten weeks absolutely magical for hundreds of kids.

I've done the cliche horseback ride on a beach in Hawaii.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
Um I can probably teach you how to say apple in six different languages. I'll also talk your ear off about Italian art history (if you want) and I know a little bit about a lot of random things.
Learn:
I don't really know? tell me about the culture, history and environment of where you grew up. I'm curious.
Share:
Stories, Jokes, awesome cooking recipes, and books.

What I Can Share with Hosts

a quirky personality and I'll geek out with you over random books, movies, and TV shows. Like I said, I can tell you a little bit about a lot of random things. i can cook- so that's a big bonus and I'd be more than happy to make a good meal in exchange for a night on the couch.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, France, Mexico, Netherlands, Saint Kitts and Nevis

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, United States
