About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see as much of this beautiful world as possible, and to encounter as many of its beautiful people as possible

ABOUT ME

My friends would usually say I am the first one out, and the last one home. I love socialising, and I love to laugh and to have others laugh with me (even if sometimes they are laughing at me...).

PHILOSOPHY

I live for new experiences. Whether that be through seeing a new country, learning a new language or even tasting a new dish...it's why I'm all about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is my first time on couchsurfing...I've heard so much about it I felt I should give it a try! If all goes well, when I get home I'll invite you all back to a BBQ at my house in Australia

Interests

At the moment I am enjoying travelling through South America and seeing everything these beautiful countries have to offer. I have spent a lot of time hiking and biking through the countryside, admiring the landscapes. The rest of the time I have spent making friends in hostels, bars and clubs. It's been unreal so far.

Music, Movies, and Books

I will happily read anything, but my favourite authors include Philip K Dick, Raymond E Feist and Robert Jordan.
I listen to a wide range of music, but am partial to good electronica and pop (Daft Punk, Empire of the Sun, Scissor Sisters, Cut Copy) but then you will also find Guns & Roses, Led Zeppelin, The Kinks and Dire Straits on my ipod.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Salar de Uyuni; the salt plains of Bolivia are simply indescribable. They are one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.
Tajumulco Volcano; hiking this peak in Guatemala was my first trek at high altitude. I was speechless for two reasons. First because I was so exhausted after the climb, and second because the sunrise was just amazing.
Belize Barrier Reef; snorkelling among the fish and the coral here was amazing. I didn't know they made fish in those colours!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, Ireland, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Peru, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, United Kingdom
