NOTE: I'm more likely to host people who have references (surfed and ideally hosted before), and have their own transportation or plan on using uber/lyft. Sadly SLC is just not that public transit friendly yet, at least not where I am located. Requests about one week out are ideal.

ABOUT ME:
I'm new to Salt Lake City, but I'm loving exploring the mountains. I hosted and couch surfed regularly when I lived abroad in China and I'm excited to do the same here.

I really like food, I'm a decent cook, and I'm always down for an adventure. I like to host people, and relish making new friends over a glass of beer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since living in China, oodles of people have slept on my couch. This was before I knew about couchsurfing, just friends and friends of friends.

Now that I know there's a website for people like me, I'm stoked to meet some new folks. I'll gladly host if I'm available, and perhaps even explore the city with you- I'm always game to find someplace new.

Also excited to couchsurf while travel. I think that it will be a great way to get an insider's perspective on a place and see the places that only the locals know.

joining whatever sport is popular at the location I happen to be living, climbing every mountain and swimming wherever I find water.

I enjoy reading and I'm always down for a book swap.
