ABOUT ME

I'm a French/English/Psychology student from the USA currently studying abroad in Lyon, France. I'm always down for dancing (I can moonwalk), I love libraries and tree houses more than most people should. I used to be religious but now find myself not religious. Either way I'm open minded and respect other people's beliefs no matter what they are.
I'm honest to a fault and extremely outgoing for someone who likes their alone time so much. I love drinking hot chocolate, café crème, beer, champagne and wine. A friend once told me I'm the most reasonable woman he has ever met. I make other people laugh almost as much as I make myself. I'm a true nerd when it comes right down to it. I love school because I love learning. I always have loads to talk about anytime someone cares to listen and as long as they don't mind knowing every little detail. I'm related to Pocahontas. My dad gave me my native american name, Long Story.
I love running, biking (road bike), hiking, frisbee and other active stuff.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been in France for 9 months, feel I know Lyon fairly well by now. If you want to grab a drink or coffee, take an uneducated tour of the city? I'm be glad to help. I live in a very very very very small studio so hosting isn't really a good option but will be considered for special cases.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Glasgow and Edinburgh Scotland, it was a great experience and really made getting to know the cities much more interesting. I love learning about the way of life in different countries.

I love reading, writing, traveling, biking, learning, exploring, psychology, sociology, used books, libraries, history, coffee drinking, beer drinking, taking photos, having good conversation, tree houses, volunteering, laughing, making other people laugh, being outgoing, keeping to myself as well, organic farming, thinking outside the box I grew up in, printmaking, going to concerts/shows, listening to music, eating good food, surprises, meeting people, running, frisbee, pretty much what most people love right?

Some movies I like: Royal Tenenbaums, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Life Aquatic, Stranger Than Fiction, Amelie, Coco Before Chanel, Easy A. I'm a sucker for romantic comedies. LOVE Hayao Miyazaki films!
Some books: Frankenstein, The Idiot, Pride and Prejudice, Persausion, Half the Sky, Harry Potter, Blue Like Jazz, The Alchemist, anything by Richie Tankersley Cusik (guilty pleasure).
I grew up around musicians and artists. I love classical and jazz. I mostly listen to forms of rock music I guess but love just about all music. I love to dance so if it's got a good beat I'm happy. Though I don't really like euro-pop or country. A few random artists are Fleetwood Mac, Gotye, Michael Jackson, Frank Ocean, Stevie Wonder, Phoenix, Friendly Fires, and so on and so forth...
When I do watch TV I like Doctor Who and others I'm to ashamed to say publicly.

Went to a bar after they had closed but had forgot to lock the doors with two travels from California. Epic night!
