ABOUT ME

I'm a Half Maltese, half Northern Irish girl. I've been travelling back and forth from the two places my whole life with my parents. After my 18th birthday I decided that I wanted to see more of the world and have been steadily becoming more and more of a frequent flyer, as much as my income allows!

I think I'm a pretty chill dude, I love kicking back with a beer and good company but am totally up for wild nights out too :P

I'm truly up for anything at least once; I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with my life so anything goes. :)

Update: I went on a couchsurfing hiatus for like 2 year and now it's March 2015 and I'm back! I now live in Bristol, UK with my boyfriend, We just moved here during February '15 and I'm loving it so far. Carry on!

PHILOSOPHY

I guess my personal philosophy is to have fun. I don't like being too serious and am continuously looking for things that make me 100% happy!

A wise Lithuanian man once told me, "Everybody has their own defense mechanisms. You can either be totally ignorant of everything around you or you can take the piss out of life. I choose to take the piss." I like his words. :P

I've had a few couchsurfing experiences so far and am definitely looking forward to more!

Interests

I love listening to music and finding new artists to listen to. Music accompanies me most places, as it does with most people. I enjoy cycling and hiking, although I don't do nearly as much as I'd like to.

On a different note, I like artsy things. I love to sketch and sculpt and am always trying to come up with cool drawings but then I get distracted and have to start from scratch. I'm very interested in taxidermy although that's a bit of a taboo subject for people. It's not gross and I do love animals so there's my disclaimer!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love watching films! I don't really have a specific genre I stick to but some of my favourites are:
Hellboy, Jezebel, The Blair Witch Project, Chronicle, Beowulf and Enter The Void to name but a few. I don't really like any series but I'm really in to The Office US right now. It's funny :)

In regards to music, my favourite band is Queens of The Stone Age without a doubt. I really like Kyuss, Fatso Jetson, Truck Fighters, Clutch, Beck, Peeping Tom... the list is endless really. Heavy is good.

Reading is a big part of me as I've always loved books in general and have a soft spot for comics. Not really into Superhero comics, although I do love Watchmen! Lobo is probably my favourite comic book/character.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bungee jumped 160ft for charity in July '12. That was amaaazing and I hope to go bigger next time!

What I Can Share with Hosts

At the moment I live in a shared house with my boyfriend and two Italians in a small place called Westbury-On-Trym in the north of Bristol. By all means if you're in the area and would like to meet, let me know and I'll see what I can do but at the moment I have a very busy schedule as I'm sorting out my job situation (I currently have three).
