ABOUT ME

I'm a California-grown girl. Went to college in Orange County, then spent a year in Amsterdam, but now I'm back in the US traveling and working until I decide what to do next. I may get certified to teach English as a foreign language and go abroad again, but who knows. I feel most like myself when I don't have to wear shoes. I'd love to meet you and hear your story.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the couch surfing community, but I think it's a fantastic idea and shows a lot of the good in humanity. I can't offer a couch now, but I hope to have some good experiences and offer whatever couches I may have in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interessi

People, city life, being outside, reading, writing as much as I can, good conversation, art, dancing like a maniac, yoga, being in or near water, wearing sandals or no shoes at all, animals, color, creativity, photography, and letting go.

Musica, film e libri

A few favorite movies are Amelie, Big Fish, Little Miss Sunshine.. I also watch a lot of The Office (American version) and Flight of the Conchords on dvd. Some bands I'm into currently are the avett brothers (SO GOOD!), clap your hands say yeah, ezra furman and the harpoons, and bob dylan, beatles, etc. I like music with a lot of variation and melody that makes me move, nothing minimal please. I read a lot of books, and can't pick a favorite, but a couple recent ones that had a strong impact are For Whom the Bell Tolls and Lolita. I'm trying to read as many of the important books as I can that didn't get assigned during college.
