Hey new friends!
My name is Shanti and I'm a musician and a music teacher from Melbourne, Australia. My main instrument is electric bass, although I also play guitar and sing, and drum as well.
I teach high school and primary school music, which involves teaching all kinds of instruments, leading bands and orchestras, teaching theory, and general "classroom music". I also teach private instrumental music lessons from home. I am currently 7 months into a trip starting in Hawaii and moving through the United States, Mexico, Cuba, and South America, and back to the USA on my way to Canada to snowboard. I love meeting new people and learning seeing a place through a locals eyes.

Travel. When I was 20 I backpacked around India by myself for 6 months, and then when I came home I lived at the snow for a season and snowboarded everyday. I have travelled extensively through Europe, South East Asia, Cuba, Mexico and South America alone.
