Hi! My name is Shanyce Auguste and I am 25 years old. I currently live in Dowagiac, Michigan where I am training for a few months as a development instructor at One World Center. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My team and I will be fundraising between the months of July and August for our travels to Mozambique and Brazil in September. We have a team of 8 but we are willing to split into groups of 2 or 4. We hope to not only get a place to stay but to share our stories with others and connect in an open atmosphere.

Interests

I love to write anything from poetry to short stories. I also enjoying singing (mostly when no one is watching). I enjoy one on one conversations about life and understanding people on a personal level. AND NATURE.. of course. 😇 I am a firm believer in crystal healing and numerology as well.

I love music, movies and books that emphasize philosophy and have a strong message about the way society is shaped. Anything from J.Cole & Childish Gambino in music to books by powerful black women like Toni Morrison and Zora Neale Hurston. My favorite movie is Mr. and Mrs. Loving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love all things art, especially theatre. I have written, produced and directed three different stage plays, all of which have featured children and teens.
