Back in Niseko for another winter! I have a lot of friends visiting this season so apologies in advance if my couch is unavailable.

ABOUT ME

After 5 years living in Banff, Canada I am now based in Japan!! I spent last winter in Hokkaido before travelling and then living in Okinawa for the summer. Now it's back to Hokkaido for some more skiing!

I'm always keen for a couch to surf on but mostly enjoy meeting local people and learning about the place you live. I can't wait to host, surf or catch up with you :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Firstly I'm sorry if I don't reply to your request, there isn't many host's in Niseko (or in Banff) so I get overwhelmed... I'm a keen supporter of CS though and will do my best to at least answer any questions and point you in the right direction.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted more then I've surfed but the people I've met doing both have been awesome! It amazes me how quickly strangers can become friends and I hope to see everyone I've met through CS again.

Just one?

I've swam with Whale Sharks (worlds largest fish) and stayed at Sal Salis on Ningaloo Reef, AMAZING and it was for work!

I've visited 28 of the American states and all Canadian provinces (but none of the territories). Am now making my way around the Japanese prefectures.

Western Australia (my home state) is over 2.5 million square kilometres. That makes it 3.6 times bigger than Texas, 4.6 times bigger than France and 11 times bigger than the UK. Yet its home to only around two million people (minus 1, as I haven't been home in a while)
