About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Going with the flow...

ABOUT ME

The short story: I just finished university in April, 09. My program included work experience, during which I realized I was not ready to work for the rest of my life yet. So, I bought a plane ticket, sold my stuff, and am now cruising around, seeing lots of amazing things, learning a ton, and meeting a bunch of awesome people.

For a longer version flip me a message - I'll be glad to fill in any details!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm all about going with the flow, and seeing what happens. The best things that have happened to me haven't been planned, and its because unforeseen opportunities have presented themselves unexpectedly, and I've followed them.

I'll talk to anyone at anytime, cause you never know where it will lead you. It's so easy to not say hi to the person at the table next to you, but then you miss out on a potential great time and friendship. I've met a ton of great people that way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was made aware of Couch Surfing from a friend right before I left on my current trip, and signed up thinking that it was a awesome idea. Through meeting people in my travels I've heard nothing but awesome things about it, and would love to participate.

I have not yet participated much with CouchSurfing, but as of now I'm looking to get more involved. I'm going to be looking for a couch to surf on at some point, and will be keeping my eyes and ears open for other things to participate in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet! But looking to change that in the near future!

Interests

Of course there's the obvious one of travelling, but here's a couple others:

Having fun (cause its much better than not)
Snowboarding (used to be an instructor)
Business (I'm lucky enough to actually be interested in what my degree is in)
Flying (obviously without a machine would be awesome, but that hasn't happened yet)

Music, Movies, and Books

Wedding Crashers (theres lots more but I was just talking about this one today..)

Teach, Learn, Share

Bear Safety - apparently this is something all Canadians know (due to the large amount of bears we have) and others are interested in. I can teach you when to "Act-Big" when to "Play-Dead" and when to "run down a hill."
