Hi! I’m Shara!

I’m 27, just started travelling SE Asia with my wonderful friend Gia, and we’re having a blast so far.

I’m a musician, I sing and play guitar, so will happily entertain if the opportunity arises. I’m also a bit of a fiend for Karaoke so if there are any bars offering it pleeeease recommend them, it’s been a while :P

I’m very chatty, love to make friends and to go for drinks, food, a game of pool and trying new things!

I’m easy going, I like to think of myself as adventurous, but I’m also definitely careful and considerate of others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is such an awesome concept and idea, I’d love to have hosted people back at home but I was living with my mum who was a little skeptical and messy house conscious. I love meeting people and helping others, and think if we have a couch to share with people trying to explore the world without spending crazy money then why the heck not!

Music, Movies, and Books

Folk, indie, rock, country vibes are totally my thing when it comes to music, but I honestly love most genres. I can get in to any vibe, and wouldn’t turn down a chance to see live music unless I absolutely have to.

Movies, not into gory violence or anything really awkward, maybe not super scary stuff either but otherwise, movies are brilliant. I’m quite lucky though that I forget basically every movie about 2 weeks after watching it so I get to watch it like it’s brand new! Downside: I won’t get any references you make. I’m sorry in advance.

Books, I love fantasy, I don’t read a huge amount but I’m trying to change that. I usually have my kindle with me so any recommendations I’m keen for!!
