关于我

Hey there! I’m Sharath from Bangalore, India — born, raised, and still rooted here, though my heart is definitely a global citizen.

I’m a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Startup founder, blending mind science and entrepreneurship to create meaningful change. But beyond titles, I’m a curious soul who’s deeply fascinated by people, stories, and the subtle beauty of human connection. Friends would probably describe me as warm, lively, and no-nonsense — the kind of guy you can laugh with, open up to, or plan a last-minute adventure with.

I’ve traveled to Dubai, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia, and now I’m hoping to explore the USA, Greece, Brazil, and Africa — not just as a tourist, but by really being there… walking the local streets, sharing conversations over food, and living like a local.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

This is my first time on Couchsurfing, but I already love the spirit of it. I’m here to meet new people, build real friendships, and immerse myself in places the way guidebooks can’t teach.

In return, I bring stories (some deep, some funny), emotional warmth, and an open heart. I’m always up for good music, deep conversations, spontaneous plans, or just a relaxed evening hanging out like old friends.

🎶 Little Things About Me
• I sing and play an Indian percussion instrument called the Khanjira
• I enjoy cooking a few Indian dishes — happy to whip something up if you’re curious!
• I’m a movie and music buff and love exploring the craft behind it
• I’m someone who can talk about the mind, soul, and psychology — or completely switch gears and just laugh over silly stuff

If you’re someone who enjoys meaningful moments, is open to authentic connection, and doesn’t mind a spontaneous jam session or heart-to-heart conversation… we’ll get along just fine :)

I’m deeply fascinated by the human mind — why we think, feel, and behave the way we do. That curiosity led me into the world of hypnotherapy, where I now help people uncover their hidden blocks and find clarity.

Outside of work, I’m all about the arts and creativity. I love:
• 🎬 Movies — not just watching them, but understanding the storytelling, direction, and music that go into making them magical
• 🎶 Music — singing, discovering new sounds, and playing the Khanjira (a South Indian percussion instrument)
• 🍲 Cooking — especially Indian food with soul and spice
• ✈️ Traveling like a local — slow walks, street-side chai, markets, people-watching, and conversations that stay with you
• 🧘🏽‍♂️ Exploring consciousness — from psychology to spirituality, anything that helps us understand life better
• 🌿 Chill evenings with deep conversations, light humor, or spontaneous plans

I’m always up for meeting new people, sharing perspectives, and making life a little more colorful wherever I go.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I once helped a woman overcome a 30-year-old fear in just one session — not with magic, but by guiding her deep into her subconscious, where the real story was hidden. Watching her walk out lighter, smiling, and free from something she carried for decades… that felt amazing.

It reminded me how powerful the human mind is — and how healing doesn’t always take time, it takes the right moment.

And if we’re talking travel-style amazing… once, in New Zealand, I found myself singing Indian folk rhythms with a didgeridoo player from Australia and a saxophonist from Brazil — under the stars, by a campfire, with zero plan. That night, we didn’t speak the same language — but somehow, we understood everything.

教,学,和分享

Teach:
I love sharing what I know about the subconscious mind, emotional healing, and human behavior — not in a boring lecture way, but through real stories and deep conversations. I can also teach you a bit of Indian classical rhythm using the Khanjira, or show you how to cook a few simple Indian dishes if you’re up for a spicy kitchen session!

Learn:
I’m always curious to learn how people live, think, love, and create in different parts of the world. I’d love to learn new instruments, cultures, cooking styles, or just how you make your perfect cup of coffee or chai. Every person is a walking book, and I enjoy reading every page.

Share:
I share my time, stories, presence, and an open heart. Whether it’s music, meals, spontaneous adventures, or simply quiet company on a slow evening — I’m someone who believes that joy multiplies when shared.

我可以与沙发主分享些什么

I’m all about good vibes, great conversations, and shared moments. Here’s what I usually bring to the table (apart from my backpack!):
• Interesting stories from my work as a hypnotherapist and from the many lives I’ve crossed paths with — I love deep chats about life, the mind, or just plain fun stuff.
• Homemade Indian food – if you’re curious, I’d be happy to cook a simple dish or two. Nothing fancy, but made with love.
• Music and rhythm – I sing and play an Indian percussion instrument called the Khanjira. Always up for a jam or just some music-filled evenings.
• A warm, friendly vibe – I’m someone who can easily make people feel safe, heard, and comfortable.
• Help with small things – from cleaning up, helping in the kitchen, to carrying groceries – I like pitching in.
• And most importantly: a mindset that values people, not places.

Whether it’s exploring your city like a local, sharing laughs over coffee, or just chilling at home with some music and stories, I’m someone who loves making meaningful connections along the way.
