Just returned to Germany after 6 months of study and adventures in Egypt! Due to being able to host while I was there, I got much more involved with the CS Community and really came to love the core values. Definitely hoping to remain involved now that I'm heading back to Germany. These experiences meant I fell in love with travelling, meeting new people and constantly having new adventures. I started using Couchsurfing when in Spain and Portugal a couple of years ago and I've loved each of my couchsurf experiences so far and would really love to return some of the joy I've had with it!

I find that places are about the people you meet both at your destination and along the journey, genuine human connections are what create the most memorable experiences

Music, Movies, and Books

Have really started to enjoy travel adventure novels such as those by Bill Bryson, Paul Theroux, Laurie Lee and Patrick Leigh Fermor, anything with a physical journey. Music interests change regularly but I'll always love jazz. Current favourites include Julia Jacklin, Tame Impala and Alabama Shakes. Have a few music festivals coming up this year which I'm super excited for!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving in Switzerland over the Jungfrau mountain range and more recently, hiking Mt. Sinai for the first sunrise of the New Year!

Even though I'm not from the places I live, I love to learn about the history and heritage of places so I can probably share lots of this with you if you're interested! I'm always keen to learn a new skill or fun fact so please do impart anything you can.
