About Me

I quit my job back home in December and moved out of my flat, put all my belongings back to my parents.
Since the beginning of January 2016 I'm traveling, starting my journey in Berlin.
On Lesvos Island in Greece I spend two weeks volunteering in the north of the island, welcoming refugees coming from the turkish coast and giving then a warm and (mostly, we tried) safe arrival. The best days where those were you could bring up a smile in a child's face again, there is nothing more energetic and heartwarming than a children's laugh!
After Greece I spend some days in beautiful Izmir in Turkey, making some music in its subway stations and visited friends I met there at my last journey in October.

Since february I'm in Oz, lived for a while in Melbourne, then traveled up north to NSW and QLD and spent there about half a year.
Came back to Melbourne at some point and went to Kangaroo Island, SA.

Afterwards I'd like to go to Newzealand and Vietnam and Indonesia, but hey, plans are changing weekly (;

I'm convinced that everyone has the potential to be happy, the task is to find out how to express and love yourself!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet people from all over the world and think that there is no better way to experience a place than with a local !
also it's great to dive into other people's live and home for a while, to become part of it (:

Interests

I'm thinking a lot about inequality in this world as for women, trans-/bi-/homo-/pan-....sexuals, people of all colours, children in 3rd world countries...
and how nature can be so beautiful without even trying

I love to be outside, hiking, festivals, going camping
and dancing!
Playing Ukulele and singing counts as well to my passions.
and for sure : CLIMBING ON TREES!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm addicted to soul, trap and hip hop!
but in the end to every music that makes me smile or cry or dance like crazy.

I love j. Bernlef's "Hirngespinnste", a book about a man getting Alzheimer's written from his perspective.

Enjoyed watching Rick and Morty, Jessica Jones, Adventure Time.
I don't have a favourite movie or singer or band, it changes weekly, depending on my mood and the places I'm at.
Currently I'm in love with Mac Demarco, B52's, Erykah Badu, Wild Beast

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed a 20m tall banyan tree in india

Teach, Learn, Share

ı can teach you some vegetarian and vegan cookıng skılls!
(more like throwing all together and being surprised by its outcome)

I love to learn, whatever it's about.
for example about other cultures and religions, though I am a feminist and with that most of the religions aren't working for me personally. I'm an atheist by the way. Love and science are the only things I believe in (;
For me it is very important to get into other people's perspective to understand their feelings and intentions, even though I may not share at all their opinion. everybody needs to be heard and also listen to others!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots of topics to talk about, some self-learned meditations skills, positive thinking and expressional dancing!
