Overview
About Me
As someone in my mid 20's I love a great beer, in a great bar with great company - I live for the bants. I love me a bit of social sport I'm be keen to fill in to make up numbers no matter where I am. On occasion you will find me reading - however I often loose interest half way through.
At home I can be found doting on my dog, binge watching a TV series or chilling with the flatties. Cooking is not my forte, but I looooove food - pretty excited to try some local dishes everywhere I travel.
I grew up in a small village surrounded by dairy farms, before moving to the city to study. I'd never go back - convenience wins. I studied a broad science degree and have ended up working in an analytical chemistry lab....in middle management haha. As much as I love my job, I think every science thing I ever learned has long been forgotten.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This year I head out on my first overseas excursion to Europe. I am keen to see not only some of the touristy areas, but the more local attractions as well. I have friends who have used couch surfing and have solidly recommended it, so I thought I'd better give it a go.
Looking forward to meeting a bunch of new people!

Music, Movies, and Books
In terms of movies, I am awful at anything serious - not too good at remembering small facts - so I tend to stick to a light hearted comedy. The best books I ever read were The Bronze Horseman trilogy. Heartbreaking story.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was once a national rowing champ....a long time ago. The fitness has somewhat dropped [non existent] since then.
