About Me

A person is way more than just a couple of lines written on their profile, right? That's why I find the about me section on any platform pretty difficult to fill up, but I'll try. If I have to sum up myself, I would say, the characteristic that will stick out the most is that I'm an extremely free-spirited person and there's nothing I would not give up for my personal freedom. I don't like bindings and a routined life, I'm an improviser rather than a planner. I am curious, open-minded, inquisitive, and a natural observer. I like having deep and meaningful conversations with people, and I absolutely love to learn new things. I'm kind of an idealist but I am also aware of the fact that we don't live in a utopia, but I personally, always strive to be a better person. I believe that human beings are in fact, work in progress, and we never stop learning, and growing.

There are a lot of dualities in me as well. It might sound like I'm a very serious kind of person (which I am) but it's not like I don't know how to have fun. Rather, it's quite the opposite. I'm a fun person to be around when people are nice and kind. I hustle and grind, but I'm also like the laziest panda you'll ever meet. I'm a pretty matured person who still has a lot of leftover childishness in her. Yeah, it's complicated :v

As for my interest goes, I am a designer and an art enthusiast. I love music, and I'm a TV series junky. So, yeah, that's the summary. Hope it gives you an idea about me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from various other countries and cultures, I think only seeing places does not give you the full breadth of experience that you can have. Meeting local people, roaming places with them, learning about their country and culture from them is what really enriches the experience of traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

This section is very hard to narrow down. A small introduction is not gonna do anything about it.

Favorite music: Folk, rock, indie, alternative rock, pop, pretty much a lot of things work for me. But somehow I find myself more inclined towards the indie-folk-rock genre the most.

As for movies, I don't like shallow plots. Movies that hook you up with the screen till the last moment, stories that flow without any force, those are the kinds of movies that attract me. Twelve angry me, The pursuit of happiness, The man from earth, Inception, Interstellar, Life is beautiful, Forest Gump, The Godfather (I), Eyes wide shut these are the kinds of movies I like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I have never lost the sight of one goal of my life for a single day, that was to be free. And I am. I am a very self-sufficient and independent person, and I worked really hard to get here. I know that my life will be what I want it to be like (unless something really terrible happens to me), and I think that's pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything that I can, anything that is possible. I can teach design, illustration, a couple of design and animation software, science that I learned up to higher secondary level. I would love to learn about business, economics, politics, psychology, history, etc. And I've plenty of stories to share!
