Our small, rustic but beautiful new home in the hills consists of two lovely german shepherds, Pup Pup and Jedda, myself and a big old couch for you to sleep on.
We love meeting new people, I am interested in other cultures, ideas, languages and story's and the dogs love the extra pats and cuddles.
I commute by car (there is also a bus) then train to the city most days for work. It's around an hour trip but I find its well worth it as it opens me up to the best of two worlds; the majestic Melbourne city and the peace of the stunning forests, I'm sure you will find it worth it too. I have my weekends on a Monday and Tuesday where I like to take the puppy's on adventures in those near by forests. We would love to show you some of the treasures we have found or seek new ones. I don't work to early so it's a good time to catch a lift to the train station to get into the city if you want to see more of that.
I am quite conscious of our environment (Pup isn't he poos all over it) I'm particular interested in finding out where most of my food comes from, I like to keep it within my own ethical standards and love meeting people who have their own no judgmental ideas about food and/or taking personal action to coexist with the planet in a healthy way.
I am exploring a more mindful and aware existence and would love to share moments with a traveler that has a positive and mindful approach to life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because we like to share.
I have had some truly wonderful guests and hosts. Couchsurfing has completely opened up my world to the amount of amazing people on this planet and given me some of the greatest experiences i would have otherwise never had.
