Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It all started with my couchsurfing in London and Edinburgh in 2011. I had wonderful experiences and memories during the trip, but it isn't until lately that I really register as a member. I am about to embark on another significant journey in my life. I will study and teach Chinese in DC for the following one year. I hope to see and explore North America as much as I can.
I like to show friends where I live and work. I've had several great experiences as a "tour buddy." I've offered accommodation to friends only a few times due to my tight schedule and small room. I hope to host more once I can afford a bigger place.
PS. I didn't get all these couchsurfing experiences from this platform. I am a novice at this place.
