I am a student in my first year of medical school, and I love traveling during the breaks or long weekends! I enjoy meeting new people, exploring new parts of cities and finding ways to reach out to people and connect with them through shared experiences. I believe that the best way to learn about yourself is through traveling and opening yourself up to new opportunities! I am extremely adventurous, love learning new things, and believe that with an open heart and a desire to do good in the world, you live life to the fullest!

I am finishing a degree in Medicine after doing my undergraduate degree in Science and love to travel and work in different cities during my breaks. I worked in New York City for four months in the summer of 2016, and have served as a delegate at the United Nations while I was there! I plan on working in healthcare and making it an affordable service for all individuals. I believe that the first step to helping people is having an open and a kind heart above all else. Traveling has helped me explore this side of myself which is one of the main reasons why I love it so much! Other than that, it has always been so much fun looking back and reflecting on experiences and friendships that I make :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has been a wonderful experience in the past when I first traveled to New York City. It has given me the opportunity to meet new people and see new parts of the city I would have otherwise missed out on! For which, I'm extremely grateful to all the people who have hosted me in the past. In return I promise to cook some delicious Indian food, and bring back some renowned Canadian maple syrup for all my hosts :)
