About Me

I'm an avid adventurer who enjoys all things outdoors. My main sport is climbing, but I also love kayaking, surfing, hiking, and camping!

I've just left both my jobs to travel around Europe - October 17-November 29! It will be my first time out of the U.S. and I'm really looking forward to being immersed in new cultures and getting to experience new places as much as I possibly can in this short amount of time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As this will be my first time out of the country, I want to have as much experience in new cultures as I possibly can, and I think that couchsurfing is a much better way to get to know places. I personally love to host people, to show them around the place I call home, all of my favorite spots and little tips and tricks, so I'd like to stay with people who have that same outlook!

I'd also LOVE to find surfing, climbing or kayaking partners throughout this journey! I'll definitely be climbing with some friends in Spain the last week of November, so if you're interested in joining us, let me know!

Music, Movies, and Books

My current favorite artists are Sylvan Esso and Portugal the Man.

Next on my list of books to read is The Emerald Mile.

I don't really watch a ton of movies, but I'm a fan of comedies or adventure films when I do!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This past year I had the opportunity to take two multi-day river trips. The first was rafting 72 miles of Hells Canyon, Idaho. The second was kayaking the Wild & Scenic section of the Rogue River in Oregon. These two trips were extremely impactful for me and have had great influence on the trajectory of my life this coming year!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to share experiences in nature! I'm a terrible cook, so that would be my top thing to learn. I can teach you how to make a great tutu - haha!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to simply share time and space with you, get into nature, learn your culture and your way of life! Looking forward to meeting you!!
