An amazing thing I’ve done as a Kenyan is take a road trip across the country, from the coastal beaches of Diani to the breathtaking landscapes of the Rift Valley and the Maasai Mara. Along the way, I immersed myself in local cultures, tasted traditional dishes, and visited historical sites like Lamu and Fort Jesus. It was not only a journey through Kenya’s beautiful landscapes but also a deep dive into its rich heritage and diverse communities, strengthening my connection to my roots and reminding me of the unique beauty of my homeland.
