Hello new friends of the couch surfing community. I am embarking on an opportunity of a lifetime…. backpacking & couch surfing with my daughter for 3 weeks. Nothing could be better, except for sharing it with new friends. We plan on travelling to Denmark, France, Italy, and Sweden. I work for a community college in the human resources department, where I have the pleasure of interacting with everyone desiring employment. What a wonderful diversity of people and I love it. I enjoy people, musical theatre, great food and gardens. My travels started as a summer exchange student to Sweden, staying with two different families on opposite sides of that beautiful country. The vast history was beyond anything I had ever imagined. I look forward to traveling to less touristy places, having great conversation over a glass of wine or cup of tea, venturing through the neighborhoods, seeking special gardens and experiencing exciting new adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My daughter stated it best, "I want to meet people and visit WONDERFUL places that aren't the typical tourist traps. I ant to explore the true beauty and eccentricities of cities and laugh with new friends". I couldn't have said it better.
