ABOUT ME

Before being an au pair I had completed my psychology degree in Wales and had been working as an activities co-ordinator for people with learning disabilities and volunteering at a HIV charity. I then decided I didn't like how settled my life was and decided to become and au pair. I spent six months in Alberta looking after a seriously ill child then moved to Rome where I spent 4 months. I am now back in England. I enjoy history and geocaching. I have also visited Paris and Lisbon and big on my list of places to see is Egypt, Copenhagen and Taiwan. I don't drink much and love to cook.

PHILOSOPHY

Left wing, like to make friends no matter what sexuality, religion, age, gender, race ect.. they may be. I live my life for the experiences, all of them good and bad as they're all wroth something.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to participate in the future as a host but at the moment I just want to meet up with locale people or other travelers. Given a weeks notice (because I live quite far away)I can give tours of London and would be very happy to do so as I love the city. I can also give you tips on all the best things to do, what to see in London for free and cheap places to eat so feel free to contact me if you're making the trip.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as of yet. I have to admit to being a little nervous of actually sleeping on stranger couches.

Music, Movies, and Books

ALL!!! I love all movies (though maybe not rom-coms) all books that are well written (have some issues with twilight and 50 shades of grey) music I like most things except heavy metal and rap. I'm a real fan of musicals and 80's rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm always waiting for that next amazing thing. The Rockies were cool, being in a hot natural spring surrounded by snow covered mountains pure bliss. Doing a tour of Edinburgh with it's fantastic history. And exploring the catacombe of Callisto and Pompeii, fantastic.
