Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I just stumbled upon couch surfing when I was looking for a place to stay in Taiwan. Its a great place to meet different people from different countries.

Well I cant host people since I live in a very small studio, but i can surely hang out and show you around hongkong.

Interests

Traveling, hiking, wildlife, outdoors, music, history, politics, meeting people and exchanging ideas and offcourse partying.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well I am a lot into Indian mythology, so any book related to that.
I prefer Indian music but I have no special favorite, any music which sounds good to ears is good enough for me.
I am a big movie buff, but someone needs to recommend me a movie, Indian, Hollywood it doesn't matter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I haven't traveled as much as I want to but I am catching up so I guess that one amazing thing is yet to happen but I have done quit a few interesting things:

Climbing the highest peak in Taiwan, and being the first Indian to do so.

Scuba diving in Philippines.

Hiking around Hongkong, whether day or night.

Been to ladakh.

Hiked in Central Indian forest, full of Tigers, Leopards and in fact coming face to face with a wild Sloth Bear.

Tripped Cambodia, all solo.

White water rafting in Rishikesh.

CLimbed second highest mountain in taiwan.

I am a hike leader in hong kong.

I spent 6 months in central indian forest as a wildlife guide.

I think I will write "that one amazing thing I've done" when I am too old to do anything amazing anymore.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn a new language, new cooking skill and yes, new way to mix alcohol. I love to know more about culture, history and tradition of different countries or communities.

Well, I can teach you hindi, my native language, Indian cooking style, Indian culture and tradition and the reason behind all those weird "Indian" things which many foreigners fail to comprehend.
